A Little About Us

Based in Elkhart Indiana, the band instrument capital, Walter & Sons Piano Restorations has one of the largest piano sales, repair and rebuilding facilities in the state. Our master craftsman hand-build and repair pianos using original hand tools and modern machinery. This enables us to maintain our high standards and ensure all work is checked for quality. The main workshop is divided into different areas to allow the pianos to flow through the different stages of the restoration process. After each process the piano is thoroughly checked to ensure it can move to the next stage of its journey. Coupled with our main workshop is our unique showroom which is modern and inviting, enabling our clients to come and experience the magnificent tonal differences between piano models, new and rebuilt. 

About our lead Technician Paul Rea

During my life I’ve been actively involved in the piano industry for over 45 years. My musical background began during my studies at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts.

Along with my fellow technicians we now bring this experience to your piano at Walter Piano Restoration.
